Abstract

The formation of an engineer in   each one of theseveral   categories of this field must initially be related withtheir holistic training  . If it they are working with teaching,this   relation becomes even greater, because the professorsneed   to teach and educate their students making them usethese teachings in order to improve   the society and theenvironment   as a whole. The engineer must be engaged withthe social problems   in a context composed by human beingand society, especially the contributions given to thementioned society  . According to Ferraz (198 MN3), "theengineering function is to design social institutions, rebuildthem and ensure that the existing ones are operating  .”According to the same author  , this action is gradual andmust go step by step  , always being concerned with socialvalues  , by comparing the achieved results and the ones thatwere expected.Keywords: engineer, constructor, rebuild
