Abstract

Virtual reality have been used to providetraining systems in several areas, in particular in medicine. In that area, user's interactions in a virtual environment aremodeled and they are compared with predefined classes ofperformance to know how much users are prepared toperform that procedure on human beings. In this paper, it isproposed a new approach for online training assessmentbased on Possibility and Necessity Measures. Those fuzzymeasures provide an intervalar estimator for thecompatibility between an user's interactions and previousstored classes of performance. This methodology is generaland can be applied also to other kind of training.Index Terms ⎯  Training based on Virtual Reality, Users'Assessment, Medical Simulation, Possibility Measures,Necessity Measures.
