CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT FOR OFFERING COURSES ONLINE

Abstract

Economical and educational advantages ofonline courses make offering them very popular. As such,many institutions of higher education in the United Statesand elsewhere have online systems and mechanism in place,delivering effective online education to the learners. Thispaper represents some considerations in curriculumdevelopment in online/distance learning. Here is discussedsome of the selection criteria for choosing what onlinecourses to be offered in engineering and technology-relatedfields.
