EL PERFIL DE LOS ALUMNOS DE INGENIERÍA - THE PROFILE OF ENGINEERING STUDENTS

Abstract

This work is the result of a reflexive task anddiagnosis of the current student population and alsopresents the information gathered in the study and anevaluation of the profile of the population of students toenter first year at our University for the 2005-2008 timeperiod. The institutional aim was approached from thepossibility of consolidating a personal record for eachstudent while also being able to recognize thecharacteristics of 1st year population in order to achieve thepredictability of their academic behavior, the configurationof their behavioral style and their priorities and academicobjectives. This work presents some of the most significantresults from the study linking it with the profile of thecurrent population of students of Engineering in a synthetic,punctual and specific way.
