USO DE HERRAMIENTAS METACOGNITIVAS PARA LA CONSTRUCCIÓN DEL PENSAMIENTO ESTOCÃSTICO EN ESTUDIANTES
Abstract
Psychology and Didactic investigationsrecognize that difficulties in the construction of stocasticthought in different levels from education exist. This work isbased on Ausubel, Novak, and Gowin’s Learning Theorythat emphasizes the cognitive point of view of educativepsychology and its relation with the significant learning. Inaddition, it agrees with a constructivist epistemology, whichafirms that the knowledge is a production of the humanbeing. With this investigation, the impact of themetacognitive tools in the learning of Probability andStatistic at Engineering courses was evaluated, taking thespecial case of the UTN, Regional Avellaneda.Beginning with the difficulties in the construction of theestocastic knowledge and the low level of development inprevious levels of education, the use of metacognitive tools,which according to Novak and Gowin allow to improvelearning and facilitate the educative investigation, wasimplemented.
