Formación y reflexión docente de profesionales ingenieros en la FIUBA: Hacia una construcción curricular sobre la base de la reflexión, la acción y la investigación didáctica sobre las buenas prácticas

Abstract

The teaching training program that is beingimplemented in FIUBA since 2000 is here described. Thisexperience integrates the results of a research work aboutthe teaching process in engineering careers and trainingsessions for FIUBA teachers, which were designed applyingthe results of said research.This research work was developed in the University ofBuenos Aires and had as a starting point the thesis for aMaster's degree in teaching and on the epistemological andpedagogical conceptions of engineers who, according totheir student's opinions, are good teachers, develop goodteaching practices thus enhance their interest on the subject.Based on the results and progress of our research work, wedesigned some teacher training workshops aimed at creatinga space for the analysis and design of the curricula onteaching practices in engineering careers.The objective of this work is to understand the real situationof professors in the School of Engineering in order to designa teaching training project that would consider their realitysometimes problematized by their personal needs or thecontext, without overlooking the epistemological dimensionsof the proper field of engineering.
