MULTIPAS: BRIDGES FOR DEVELOPING SIGNAL PROCESSING APPLICATIONS WITH JAVA, C++ AND C#

Abstract

MultiPAS is a software kit of APIS to enable theuse of “Octave†variables and functions through a JAVAC++-C# program and makes it possible to not only developsignal processing applications quickly by implementing theapplication's graphic interfaces but also to carry out thescientific calculation in “Octaveâ€. These gateways aredeveloped with the shape of API, and have been madeavailable to students doing degrees in Electronics andTelecommunications Engineering, so as to assist them intheir lab training in signal processing, as well as for thedrafting of their final projects and PhD. programsresearches. They are very useful to research developmentsas well, not to rewrite existing code. Finally, it is importantto stress the free-software nature of the developed gateways:as no license is necessary, student access to this program ofscientific calculus is easier.
