INTEPROC, UN AUXILIAR PARA LA ENSEÑANZA UNIFICADA DE LA ESTRUCTURACIÓN DE REDES DE INTERCAMBIO

Abstract

The work describes an Add-In for thespreadsheet Excel©, InteProc.xla, for the teaching of thestructuring of networks of mass or energy exchange, using atechnique of Mixed Integer Lineal Programming, theTranshipment Method.A brief reference is made to an unified formulation of theproblem. There are considered a group of sources anddrains, as well as the specifications of the problem and thethermodynamic and technical restrictions that exist forstructuring the network.Next, the paper describes the InteProc.xla maincharacteristics, as well as the types of problems that can besolved with it and some work proposals for the users.Finally, it is shown application examples as well as thepedagogic considerations on its use in an advanced courseof Process Engineering.
