Abstract

The study was developed at the InstitutoTecnológico de Chihuahua, México, with students of theanalog and digital circuits of mechanical engineering.Generally, practices in the different subjects haven’t beenwell pondered by the teacher; consequently, it is importantto understand “how much practices favor the learning ofelectronics in the school terms 2006-2008”. The Objective isto measure how much practices favor the learning ofelectronics in engineering students. Hypothesis: Laboratorypractices significantly increase the learning of electronics, increasing the student’s interest for electronics. Initially, the“single group pretest-post-test design” is used, later, the“intact group and pre-test and post- test design” was used. The failed students’ percentage is reduced to a 13% whenthe treatment is applied. Additionally, students stopconsidering the practice as a “filler”, increasing theirinterest for the subject and the permanence of knowledge inthe student.
