COMPETENCIAS, TRABAJO Y CURRICULUM DE LOS INGENIEROS EN ARGENTINA

Abstract

This proposal intends to show thepartial results of a interdepartmental research beingcarried out by the National Technological University-Buenos Aires School, with the aim of studying therelations among competences of Electronic, Mechanicsand Information Systems Engineers´profile and thoserequired to graduated students by employers Theresearch is situated in the Educational Technology areawithin the frame of transformations brought by TIC´s inthe productive systems and the economic courseadopted by Argentina since 2003. The universe underanalysis include the job openings for electronic,mechanics and system engineer, the laboral insertion ofgraduates in the period 2003-2007 and the trainingexpectations stated in curricular documentation. Theresults of questionnaires to graduates will be putforward.
