LA PC COMO INSTRUMENTO DE MEDICIÓN: ENSEÑANZA Y UTILIZACIÓN

Abstract

The PC plays an essential role in moderninstrumentation, with clear contributions to virtualinstrumentation and data acquisition systems. Consequently,it is necessary to include PC-based measurement concepts inthe contents of courses related to electrical measurements.In this work the subject is tackled by means of theexperiences in the context of Electrical and ElectronicMeasurements discipline from Faculty of Engineering –UNCPBA, where the engineer’s training with practical andinnovative orientation is a clearly-defined objective.Laboratory activities and tasks such as virtual instrumentcreation, instrument contrast, parameter characterization inaudio amplifiers, and data acquisition using an automaticmeasurement bank, are presented. The activities are carriedout after analyzing the PC as a laboratory instrument in itstheoretical context. The employed tools and instrumental arepresented, jointly with the practical activities.
