USO DE TÉCNICAS DE GEOPROCESSAMENTO E DE MODELAGEM MATEMÁTICA PARA A GERAÇÃO DE MAPA DA TEMPERATURA MÉDIA ANUAL DO ESTADO DO RIO GRANDE DO SUL - BRASIL
Abstract
Geoprocessing techniques using mathematical models allows to represent the space distribution of geographical informations, as the meteorological information ones. The spatialization of the temperature defines limits of climaticaly homogeneous areas, contributing to a more efficient agroclimatic zoning. The main purpose of this work is to determine and spatializate the annual mean temperature starting from the latitude, longitude and altitude datum through equations of multiple regression methods, foccusing the map generation. The analysis of the regression points which the temperature was correlated to the variables predictors, allows to construct the desired map. The map was obtained by using the Idrisi software, validated on the digital elevation model of the Rio Grande do Sul state. This technique gives satisfactory results and it can be used for the generation of thermal conditions maps of a certain area.
