ESTUDO DA EFICIÊNCIA ENERGÉTICA E DIMENSIONAMENTO DE MOTORES DE INDUÇÃO TRIFÁSICOS A PARTIR DA PLOTAGEM DE SUAS CURVAS CARACTERÍSTICAS
Abstract
The goal of this article is to expose a didacticand easy way to show to the students and professionals ofelectrical engineering how to pursue an analysis to verify ifmotors are correctly specified for their loads. Thereforestudies show that the habit of using underload motors is verycommon in the practice, generating considerable lossesrelated to the energy efficiency, and thus, a more detailedstudy of specification has extreme importance. This studyprovides three methods to obtain four characteristics curvesof the induction motors: Current, Efficiency, Potency Factorand Slip, all in function of the load. It was made a study toobtain what is the real potency applied four load showinghow to calculate the potency of the new adequate motor,when verified the underload. Finally, is showed the energeticand financial economy, and the replacement of a standardmotor for one high efficient.
