UTILIZAÇÃO DE RECURSOS MULTIMÃDIA: RESULTADOS OBTIDOS NO PROCESSO DE ENSINO-APRENDIZAGEM DO CURSO DE ENGENHARIA CIVIL

Abstract

The aim of this work is to present the results ofthe teach-learning process using multimedia resources, inthe discipline of Metallic Constructions of the course CivilEngineering, of the Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto.Two multimedia resources had been elaborated to disciplineand will be presented, the cd-roms: “Steel Structures -behavior of steel structures submitted to efforts†and“Constructing in Steelâ€. The cd-roms presents resources ofvirtual reality and some graphical animations in threedimensions that simulate the behavior of structures allowingthe visualization of processes that occur in themicroscopical level. Also, new constructive processes usingmaterial little known are presented through of visualresources. The results of the teach-learning process hadbeen evaluated by statistical processes
