CONSTRUINDO UMA PLATAFORMA DE TRANSMISSÃO DE VÍDEOS EDUCACIONAIS PARA WEB

Abstract

The easy dissemination capacity along with thepedagogic advantages given by multimedia contents makethe Internet into an attractive and efficient educationalenvironment. This article lists some characteristics of usingvideo as a didactic instrument for e-learning, in order tojustify the creation of a support system for videoconferences. This piece of work introduces Red5, a free tool,developed in Java, for multimedia delivery and acquisition.Another contribution this work gives is promoting specificknowledge necessary for the implementation of a multimediathat is used in Red5 as applied in the e-learning area. Aninteractive video conference tool was developed, where theteacher has the role of intermediator for the interaction.
