USO DO AMBIENTE DE EDUCAÇÃO A DISTÂNCIA MOODLE COMO FERRAMENTA DE SUPORTE AO ESTUDO PRÉVIO À AULA PRESENCIAL

Abstract


This work presents a proposal of the elearning,using Moodle, as a training lesson tool for theAlgorithms and Programming students of the Escola deEngenharia Mauá. This proposal has evolved the activitycalled “Essential Previous Knowledge” that consists toshow topics of programming subjects answer the questionsabout it and see the auto-evaluation. Before 2008, thestudents would have to look for the monitors or professors ofdiscipline before the class to discuss the answers,discouraging some students, mainly it at night period, whohave restricted schedule for carry out task. Nowadays withthe auto-evaluation carried out in the Moodle environment itis possible to the students to verify its answers and gettingthe justification of each questions’ alternatives. Thisfeedback presented helps to reduce the distancetransactional between the students and the professors duringthe first steps of the study of a new subject.
