MÉTODOS DE COMBATE E PREVENÇÃO AO SPIT

Abstract

It is expected for the next years that SPam overInternet Telephony (SPIT) will become a great problem.Experiences with email SPAM and its analogies with SPITsuggest that SPIT will be difficult to solve with a singledetection method. The methods already known to treat emailSPAM may be not sufficient to treat SPIT. In this paper wepresent some combat methods: Turing Tests, ProgressiveMulti Gray-Levelling, RFC 4474, DAPES, BiometricFramework and VoIP SEAL. Advantages and disadvantagesof each method are described and classified according theirrespective efficiency. Finally, we suggest some methods toprevent SPIT.
