A HORA DO ENCONTRO: O COMPARTILHAR NA UNIVERSIDADE

Abstract

Computing has grown beyond its own bounds tobecome a multidisciplinary field that touches many sciences.Therefore, it is essential to provide frequent meetingsbetween computing workers and the wide academicpopulation, which should be encouraged since thegraduation course. This paper suggests the creation of apublic space at the university, where all academicpopulation has the possibility of sharing knowledge andideas through proposed activities, which consider universalmatters like citizenship, society and technology, leadership,education, ethics, environment, among others. The rightchoice of both methodologies and themes are very importantto stimulate the active share among the participants. Thispaper also takes into account a project that has beendeveloped in a Brazilian university.
