Abstract


Currently it is believed that the technical skillsmust be associated to the ability to judge, communicateideas, work in group and to negotiate decisions collectively.In this regard, the exact sciences courses, in technicaldegree, undergraduate or postgraduate level, haveincreasingly reviewed their teaching projects in order tokeep their courses updated, the teaching staff and thestudent body motivated. Thus, this paper presents a study ofhow the Undergraduate Research promotes the integrationof theoretical studies of the classroom and practicalapplication motivating the student body to the independentstudies (knowing how to learn and how to developthemselves), develop their creativity in the solution ofproblems and consequently keep themselves motivated withthe course they are in, motivating the teaching staff to makeresearches and publications, promoting even more thedevelopment of all connected with the EducationalInstitution in which they are part of.
