PLATAFORMA DE GESTÃO DO CONHECIMENTO NA APLICAÇÃO DE EAD NO ENSINO PRESENCIAL EM UMA IES: UM ESTUDO DE CASO

Abstract


Based on Ordinance 4.059/2004 issued by the
Brazilian Ministry of Education (MEC), which allowed for
the use of 20% curricular content in the DL modality, a
Brazilian University applied the new model to all its
undergraduate subjects. This article uses quantitative and
qualitative research conducted in this new environment; as a
result, a combination of factors including the selection of a
knowledge management platform, the intensive use of
information technology (IT), the training strategy for
personal and virtual tutors, building a new platform and
successful implementation of the DL modality in
undergraduate programs. The new format has fostered a
transformation in the pattern of student proactivity during
classes, positive changes in the IT culture, improvements in
relationships with professors, a more successful learning
performance of students and improvements in the
educational level of the institution.
