Abstract

It is relevant both for entrepreneurs and for
academics to evaluate the performance of
interorganizational networks, once their organizational
framework have not only distinguishing characteristics and
require specific tools, but also particular management
methodologies to reach competitiveness and productivity.
Assessing the value added realistically, more than just
measuring results, is a key factor when attempting to evolve
synergistically, once sharing is a core characteristic of
interorganizational networks. The productive organizations
embodied in this environment depend upon cohesion,
commitment, partnerships and alliances among actors.
Developing visibility criteria in the process involving
business among the actors can either create network
visibility or empower the productive organizations managers
in the decision making regarding effectiveness and efficiency
in this new organizational paradigm; the organizational
architecture inserted in the networks.
