Roberto S. Apóstoli, Hector Tissera, Victor Sauchelli

Abstract

“Celflex†is an experimental project intendedfor applying innovative flexible manufacturingmethodologies. It comprises two robots and twocomputerized numerical control machine tools (CNCMT),which were whole designed and built at the laboratory.Several robotics closed loop control and expert systems(A.I.) were elected as the electronics engineering finalproject. Besides, mechanical engineering students have beenchosen a 4 and a 5 axes CNCMT 3D design and simulationas the professional supervised practice (PSP). These twouniversities: UTN Cordoba Mechanical EngineeringDepartment and the UN of Cordoba Electronics Departmenthave sponsored, supervised and approved these “hands onpracticesâ€, following the learning by doing paradigm.
