INNOVATION PROCESSES IN THE CONTEXT OF THE EUROPEAN HIGHER EDUCATION

Abstract


Much of the most successful innovation occursat the boundaries of organisations and industries where theproblems and needs of users, and the potential oftechnologies, a range of different approaches can be linkedtogether in a creative process that challenges allparties.Higher Education Institution not are strange to thissituation. This paper review topics that are becoming hefocus of attention for innovation in two geographical areas:United States and Europe. Both are very coincident. Finallyan explanation of how different innovation styles areimplemented in the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid inthe context of the European convergence.
