IGIP: FROM EUROPE TO THE WORLD

Abstract

21st Century brings expectations beyond ourthoughts once the economical scenarios are being reshapedand social aspects of human kind are being changingdramatically. In terms of education there are new necessitiesand trends. Speaking about engineering and technologyfields, thanks to the pioneering actions of some educatorsthe insertion of a IGIP – NMC – Brazil, InternationalSociety for Engineering Education – National MonitoringCommittee in Brazil comes to add efforts for high qualityeducation in the Country. IGIP is a successful EducationSociety that has dedicated more than 30 years investigating,discussing and applying new methods for teaching in higheducation level. This excellent and large experience hasculminated with the creation of a NMC across the Atlantic inthe Americas, which is already a success.
