Abstract


Multipulse rectifiers can be used as apassive technique of Power Factor correction and to reducethe content harmonic injected in the electrical mains. Theserectifier topologies can be isolated or non-isolated; howeverthe non-isolated topologies present the advantage ofreducing the weight and volume of the structure. In thispaper, a brief theoretical study of the 12 and 18 pulsesconverters with differential connections of autotransformersis presented. However, a mathematical study was realizedfor the development, through the Delphi programminglanguage, to design and simulation of multipulse rectifiers.This application become easy and fast the design andsimulation of the multipulse rectifiers, that using differentialconnections of the transformers. This purpose is developedfor students who not know the structures and neither othersimulation tool.Index Terms ⎯ Delphi program, multipulse converters,power factor corrections, low THD.
