ABORDAGENS TEMÁTICAS PARA VISITA MONITORADA EM BACIAS HIDROGRÁFICAS: EXPERIÊNCIA DE UM MINI-CURSO
Abstract
In Brazil, the National Water Resources Policyprovides as a general guideline that its implementationshould be linked to regional, state and national planning;integrated to environmental management, and suited to thephysical, biological, demographic, economic, social andcultural diversities of the various Brazilianregions. Knowing the planning unit bounded by a watershedin a socio-cultural curriculum approach, having as mainreference Paulo Freire, has allowed us to discuss in anintegrated and dynamic form, issues of joint responsibility,joint participation and co-management processes, factorsthat treat the watershed as the locus where not onlydecisions occur, but participation and experience ofcommunities, reflecting the systemic effects of these unifyingactions of environmental processes and humaninfluences. This paper aims to share the experience in amini-course discussing the prospects for a guided tour whichtakes as a guideline Environmental Sustainability anddemocratic processes of decision making.Index Terms ⎯ Environmental Education, Social andEnvironmental Sustainability, Watershed.
