Abstract


The teaching of exact sciences deserves carefulconsideration because teaching science means to teach howit is possible to understand the nature as part of everydaylife. Thus, teacher education should lead the construction ofdifferent meanings and hegemonic about science andtechnology, especially now that Brazil faces the problems of"how to educate in the knowledge era" and "how to educatethe country's transition from third to first world." In thiscontext it should be thinking about how to significantlyimprove the primary and secondary education, with thecreation of legal frameworks for the practice of science andtechnology, the socialization of science, among others. It isclear that if necessary the improvement of teaching andpedagogical issues linked to strategies and activities focusedon programming for teaching sciences, motivating andconsolidating real learning.Keywords - Education, Mathematical Sciences, TeacherEducation, Science and Technology.
