Abstract


Informatics domain of knowledge is acceptedas an applied domain. Computer Sciences theories concernto presupposes which support tools development andapplication. This paper explains difficulties of integrationbetween theoretical foundation and applications in terms ofpedagogic aspects. The expression “real world”, a popularterm in Computer Programming disciplines raises modelingtask to generic complexity level, named vertical knowledgeapproach. It is described the relationship between ObjectOriented Modeling Tool and Complex Thought Knowledge.It is also enhanced the relevance of Krysten Nygaardtheoretic modeling tool proposal. Thematic examplessupporting development of teaching topics under a processapproach favor the Inverted Curriculum structure. Thematicapproach is in accordance with Inverted Curriculumproposal. It is a possibility of evolution of traditionalcurriculum structure in technologic area. Thematicapproach favors a vertical hierarchy of knowledge, and, thisway, harmony between theoretical area and practicalapplications constitute an emergency.Key Words ⎯ Inverted Curriculum, Theoretical and AppliedAreas, Object Oriented Programming, TechnologicalEducation.
