Abstract


The trend of increased prolonged contact ofman with the computer is causing serious concern for theglobal society. The spread of Internet and new informationand communication technologies increasingly interactivehas generated new social and individual problems. Theintensive and inappropriate use of the computer has causedhealth problems, problems related to underage persons andsocial problems. This article discusses the main harm thatthe misuse of the computer and the Internet can bring tohumans.Index Terms ⎯ Internet, dependência, cibercrimes,pornografia infantil.
