THE CREATIVE PROCESS IN THE INDIVIDUAL – WHICH COMES FIRST, THE EGG OR THE HEN?
Abstract
The Creative Process in the Individual – Whichcomes first, the egg or the hen? In dealing with this subject Iwill suggest that we start by sectionalizing the sevenstructural phases or fundaments. These structural phases toconsider are Germination, Inspiration, Preparation,Incubation, Illumination – Heureka, Elaboration,Verification. The fundamentalism of the creative processcan be defined in these categories: Nature is creative. In thisplanet these three categories should be considered: Nonbiological evolution – i.e. the geophysical, such as volcaniceruptions of land erosion. Biological evolution, that whichreflects the growth of plants and animals. Culturalevolution, which is associated with myths, legends magic, mystics, ideology, rituals, traditions, art, technology andscience. These three evolutions work or operate on the samefundaments although their developments have different timeprocesses. The above mentioned fundaments, however, mustoperate under these four principles vis-à -vis: Chaos, Order,New form, Selection: yea or nay.
