Abstract


In undergraduate programs in Social Communication, along with the theoretical and practical contents studied throughout the courses, building a cultural repertoire becomes a fundamental task. This paper aims to examine the operation and consequences of acquiring a set of knowledge and references that can be accessed whenever needed. Hence, the concept of repertoire will be discussed from three points of view: its aesthetic nature, its connection with the practice of Social Communication and an experience report related to the discipline Aesthetics and Mass Culture, chair of the 4th period of Journalism and Advertising of UNISUAM.
