Abstract


The painting and the support where it takes place is a relationship that requires a conscious reflection and committed to the practice of painting itself. Thinking about the relevance of support over this practice is to think the relation of the object produced with reality. The result it´s something that pretends to provoke and stimulate the thinking about the work of art and its medium of intervention. The illusion between representation and reality is an important point in this investigation in painting. And on the other hand, so is the delusion, which is the pictorial understanding of the object as such. Although conflicting, these are characteristics that make their way to many interpretations of the work.
