DO RAPPORT AO COBOGÓ UMA PROPOSTA DE EDUCAÇÃO GRÃFICA NA ARQUITETURA

Abstract

This paper is about an exercise that was doneduring the course in first year of the architecture graduationat UNICAMP. This exercise was divided in two moments:the first one aimed for the development of graphic patternsusing the rapport techniques and made with Vector DrawingPrograms; the second moment, to design a tridimensionalpattern related with the other exercise already done. Thiswas directed to build modular elements (Cobogó - a sort ofvertical barrier) that was drawn with the software SketchUp.The design of the tridimensional structure of is notunderstood as a mechanical act, but as a kind of translationbetween two medias, a cognitive activity that challenges thetranslator, as the translation of poetry, but in this case thereis no previous knowledge of the language, but the languageand the work of translation is built during the very act of doa tridimensional structure.Index Terms ⎯ Cobogó, graphics education in architecture,modulation, rapport.
