Abstract


The portrait, as well as the self-portrait, in hispictorial tradition built a type of own speech. Thecontemporary technologies offered other ways ofrepresentation that break with the tradition, at the sametime in which they talk to her. How we may read acontemporary portrait? It is the question that looks forthese paper from the work of art “50 Hours: Self-portraitStolen†of the photographer Rocheli Costi.
