SALA DE REUNIÃO VIRTUAL: UM AMBIENTE INTERATIVO E COLABORATIVO

Abstract

The aim of this work is to present a newcommunication tool, developed in a partnership betweenthe Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto and theUniversidade Federal de Minas Gerais, and to argue theeducational paradigms that had guided its development.The tool “Conference Room†is part of a site that offerdistance courses and possess: audio resources, forexchange of information between the participants; ashared whiteboard, in which they can add images andpaint tools, to be used in the shared whiteboard. Thealterations in the whiteboard made for one of theparticipants are visualized by all users. The environmentwas based on a constructivist pedagogical model, beingconsidered the importance of the interaction affirmed forVigotsky and emphasized the cooperative, collaborativeand interactive work.Index Terms ⎯ educação a distância, reunião virtual
