The ARTGEO Project aimed at integratingscience, art, and technology, emphasizing geometricelements which must be explored within the teachingprocess. Geometry, present in the most primitivecivilizations, assists man in settling relationships andorganizing his space. It has been clearly identified in humanconstructions, consisting of an important instrument ofknowledge and domain of nature. The art, in its turn, canmediate the elaboration of knowledge, whether it isscientific, technical, or philosophical. Science and art areproducts that express the imaginary representations fromdistinct cultures. The Brazilian Concretism, for its relationswith the geometry, is the period in art history chosen asreference. Technology was represented by the computationalenvironments, as a didactic support and an instrument forthe accomplishment of practical activities. Microsoft Wordis one of the basic softwares for this proposal because of itseasy access in most public schools.Index Terms ⎯ Integration art/science/technology,geometry teaching, symmetry.
