O CÃRCULO INTERATIVO-CONSTRUTIVO (CIC) COMO ALTERNATIVA METODOLÓGICA PARA O ENSINO E A PESQUISA

Abstract

This paper presents a methodologicalrestructuring of the hermeneutic-dialectic circle (CHD – inPortuguese), which is considered an efficient instrument forsocial research data collection  . The new structure,interpreted as the interactive-constructive circle (CIC – inPortuguese), is identified as a dynamic, versatile, wellapplicableand efficient tool, as it maintains the groupsimultaneously integrated during all phases of the circle.  Itis also efficient in the educational arena, as the dialectichermeneuticexercise stimulates speech potential, textconstruction, the ability related to synthesizing, criticizing,self-criticizing, constructing and reconstructing concepts,and even negotiating commonly agreed ideas and concepts.Tested under a pilot intervention, it constitutes integral partof a Master's dissertation at a Higher Education FederalInstitution. For a better understanding of the circle, itsinitial design, the structures suggested by researchers whohave used it, and the changes made to this methodologicaltool are presented.Keywords ⎯ circle, hermeneutic-dialectic, interactiveconstructive.
