UTILIZAÇÃO DO MÉTODO DE HOLT-WINTERS PARA PREVISÃO DA PRODUÇÃO DE ÃGUA NA GRANDE GOIÂNIA
Abstract
All in planet Earth, the volume of salt waterfound in oceans and seas is about 97%; the other 3% isfresh, but they are found in glaciers or underneath theearth surface, in aquifers, and it is difficult to accessthem. Only 0.007% of freshwater is found in rivers, lakesand in the atmosphere - the easy access water to humanbeing. Brazil has 13.7% of surface freshwater in theWorld and 70% of this amount is at Amazon. The other30% are distributed throughout the country. The growingof water needed by the population concentration and thewater disponibility in certain areas demands to plan howto use this water. Based on these points some statisticalmethods were used as models of regression and timingseries, taking Holt-Winters Methodology as a basic tool tomodel the water consumption withing coming decades.
