Abstract

The impacts that occur in urban sections ofrivers, rise considerably when the occupation is disorderedRiver Basin, reaching the range of protection, engineeringand any intervention requires a preliminary study of thewatershed. The adoption of mitigation works, in order tominimize the effects of impacts from the uncontrolledoccupation of land, does not always have the desiredresponse. The present study aims at investigating the use ofbioengineering techniques in hydraulic works torenaturalisation watercourses. The methodology for thedevelopment of the research is based on a descriptive /correlational, it consists of observation and recording ofevents that occur in urban rivers and their watershed said. Itpresents as a result a set of bioengineering techniques forrenaturalisation of urban rivers, orchestrating not only thehydraulic engineering, but also making suggestions that canimplement the new Code Florestral Dollars.Index Terms - Bioengineering, Renaturation of Rivers, theBrazilian Forest Code Hydraulic Works.
