EDUCAÇÃO AMBIENTAL COMO ESTRATÉGIA DE GESTÃO TERRITORIAL

Abstract


The recognition of the strategic role of environmental education for land management by watershed leads the Technical Board of EducationEnvironmental from rivers Piracicaba, Capivari and Jundiaí (PCJ) Watershed Committee to propose a projectto empower its members, in partnership with the UNICAMP´s Community Affairs Coordination. Thisinduced demanded project, financed by Watershed Council (FEHIDRO), aims to contribute to strengthening the members of the Board local knowledge and know-howthrough a continuous development process, with ongoing evaluation of their practices and with joint construction of material. Four modules will be developed over twelvemonths. The programmatic content is related to the dynamics of water resources managementt in the PCJwatershed region, taking into account the principles of all public policies that affect the region.
