FENÔMENO URBANO: UMA ANÁLISE DAS CONTRIBUIÇÕES DE MANUEL CASTELLS, HENRI LFEBVRE E LE CORBUSIER

Abstract

This paper presents an analysis of the urban phenomenon in the view of thinker Manuel Castells, Henri Lefebvre and Le Corbusier. The aim is to study through the positions of these thinker the problems of the urban phenomenon in the city of Feira de Santana, Bahia, Brazil, in the last decade. The methodology used was based on the position presented by the authors in the study. Concluded that the line of thought to be applied in the research was the thinker "Henri Lefebvre", according to the present analysis as the extraordinary passivity of the people directly concerned, the emergence of places like the suburbs (doubtful excrescences ) and the exposure of urban problemsthrough a point of departure, which is the process of industrialization. In the presence of the reality of this study in focus is the line that most applies to the context to be investigated.
