APLICATION OF SIMULATED ANNEALING (3D) IN ESTIMATING CONCENTRATION OF IRON ON THE WATER OF TUCURUÍ DAM
Abstract
The main goal of most of the studies on the environmental characterization is related to the prediction of the spatial variation of one or more environmental variables. The iron in the waters of Tucuruí dam, located in Pará State, was evaluated using the simulated annealing (3D), in which all the models generated were consistent with available information. The simulations were performed for the iron samples that showed values above the maximum terms permitted by the CONAMA Resolution 357-05. On the 3D model was viewed the probability of iron concentrations exceeding the maximum permitted limit of 300 µg / L, in the most clear areas with probabilities lower than 80% of noncompliance.
