DESEMPENHO PORTUÁRIO BRASILEIRO QUANTO À SUSTENTABILIDADE: UMA ABORDAGEM MULTICRITÉRIO

Abstract

The ports are the main elements to the flow of
foreign trade to Brazil which is potentially polluting activity,
but today's society calls for sustainability (environmental
and safety). This paper presents the development of a
multicriteria model in order to evaluate the performance of
Brazilian ports about the sustainability and use the
MACBETH approach to building functions in the value of
qualitative descriptors and to establish the weight of the
criteria. The proposed model proved to be satisfactory in the ordering of ports, pointing to the decision maker, local and global evaluation, allowing these improvement
opportunities.
