NOVAS ABORDAGENS DA GESTÃO ORGANIZACIONAL COM ENFOQUE NA SUSTENTABILIDADE: UMA ANÁLISE EXPLORATÓRIA NO SETOR SUCROALCOOLEIRO

Abstract

Nowadays the organizational management has
faced new challenges, and certainly one of the most
important is how to keep their business in a sustainable way,
that means to produce considering economic, ecological and
social factors. In this sense, the organizations are trying to
adopt practices related with cleaner production, ecological
accountability, integrated management system, sustainable
indexes and others approaches focusing the sustainable
management. This scenario is still unclear and most of the
companies don’t have a consolidate model to adopt. In
general, companies have concentrated efforts to achieve
their goals through a management oriented to transparency,
ethics and environmental responsibility. This paper aims to
analyze the organizational sustainability in Brazilian
companies on the sugar-ethanol industry, which is
considered a world leader in biofuels technology. The
results were obtained through an exploratory analysis in
companies from Sao Paulo state, considering the
implementation of practices and methods with focusing the
sustainability.
