Abstract

Papillomatosis is one of the incident and
prevalent sexually transmitted diseases in the world today.
Caused by a virus family Papilomaviridae causes skin
lesions, clinical and subclinical with variable invasive
properties ranging in its more than two hundred different

stood at diagnosis, analysis and observation of possible
factors that predispose patients to infection with HPV, and
the lack of information about this sexually transmitted
viral disease in relation to the media, prevention
campaigns along competent bodies, and their ways of
prevent it. Our results present a description of the
diagnosis and treatment of oral HPV, the stigmatizing
nature of patients with HPV oral and punctuate failures
that can occur in pre-analytical phase of the diagnostic
