SEGURANÇA PÚBLICA: DEVER DO ESTADO, RESPONSABILIDADE DE TODOS

Abstract

For the achievement of public safety becomesparamount to education, access to justice, protection ofrights and social inclusion. Crime and violence, is due to theimpersonality of submission or the possibility of direct injuryor indirect, are characterized as social problems directlyrelated to public safety and, therefore, governance anddemocracy, given the constitutional provision that sets thesafety public and the State's duty and responsibility. Thus,the lack of standards, fear, dissatisfaction with the politics ofpublic security leads to denial of the condition of charge.Lack of partnership between state and society, helps toincrease the gap between the rights to liberty and security.Demonstrate that they can and should go hand in hand is theobject of this research.
