ESTUDO DE CASO SOBRE AS DISFUNÇÕES ERGONÔMICAS EM CIRURGIÕES DENTISTAS

Abstract

This work carries out a review of the literaturewith regard to ergonomics related to dental surgeons. Thispaper aims to raise the constant interference that the healthof the Dental Surgeon suffers in their daily activities. Studiesshow how frequent the aches are related to their work. Aresearch was carried out with 13 professionals, through aquestionnaire, which resulted in a survey of data followed bystatistical analysis. The conclusions the study led to can beconfirmed in future analyses to be conducted with a largersample. This study aimed to analyze the posturaldysfunction, verify if the dental equipment used (especiallythe dental chair and stool) is being used correctly to reducemuscle stress to these professionals.
