Abstract


Industrial areas closed or abandoned, in whichin the past have used substances that produce risk for thewelfare of the community are in dangerously on a new targetfor the housing market. However, many of these areas are inwhat is identified as environmental liabilities (liabilitiesindustrial) before requiring an occupation "environmentalcleaning" of soil. The aim of this study is to identify the keytechnologies of treatment, viable to be implemented in acontaminated area in a neighborhood to the east of the cityof Sao Paulo. The research design for the development ofthis work is based on descriptive and correlational study. Itpresents results in a set of procedures to be followed for theacquisition of an old urban area or to purchase a building inan old urban area, where they were potentiallycontaminating activities carried out for some time.Index Terms - Real Estate.
