Abstract

The disorderly and accelerated growth of human settlements and the absence of adequate planning, presented as a direct consequence, the emergence of adverse environmental impacts in different parts of the environment, which allows reading to identify the occurrence of profound changes in the use and occupation of soil. The environmental impacts arising from such human intervention can be identified when the occupation of critical environmental areas, addressing in particular the occupation of land slopes. The goal is to allow different parts of society access to understanding the differences between the movements of bodies, such as occurred in Santa Catarina. The planning of research to the development of this work is based on descriptive and correlational study. The result of this study enables the company to understand the consequences of their actions, which in general has resulted in a situation that threatens the existence of people, beings or things.
