OBTRUSIVE LIGHT (LIGHT POLLUTION) AND LIGHTING OF OUTDOOR ELECTRICAL STATIONS PHILOSOPHY

Abstract


This article wants to describe how to iluminatedoutdoor electrical stations. Why? Because in the Europestarted to be valid a new norm for work places lighting andbecause there started to be used a new technology. Thedisplays on the units and unit status can be remote observedby colour camera systems not only in day but at night too. Inthis article there are recommendations for light sources andluminares and when, why and how many of them can beused in the outdoor station area. Night lighting can increasesafety and reliability in the outdoor electrical stations. Thelighting philisophy must be compared with environmentalzones and obtrusive light.Index Terms ⎯ Light source, luminare, electrical station,camera, obtrusive light, environmental zone.
